An estate set in the heart of the vines with an unparalleled view over the Monts du Beaujolais.
Activité: Vineyard walks (hikes, strolls)
Surrounded by Gamay and Chardonnay vines, Château des Broyers has been welcoming visitors to discover the Beaujolais and Southern Burgundy Crus crafted there since 1823. During the week, the Château hosts company seminars, congresses and product presentations etc. at the weekend; the Château hosts private functions including weddings, family reunions, associations and groups.
This estate has spanned many generations. The château and its cellars date from the 17th century. It is in the heart of the vineyard where the poet Lamartine came for rest and relaxation.
The visitor gets to the estate up a driveway through the vines, arriving in a big interior courtyard that gives access to the different estate buildings. On the left is an imposing 14th century building and a succession of other buildings with our tasting area.
Set in the commune of Saint Germain sur l’Arbresle, 25 km to the north-west of Lyon, our estate is an integral part of the Pays des Pierres Dorées (golden stone country). Vinegrower-winemakers from father to son for 7 generations, we work in respect of the environment using authentic methods.
