Château de Vaurenard has been a family estate since 1672 with 25 ha of vines in the heart of the Beaujolais region. Ghislain de Longevialle, a vinegrower-winemaker who respects tradition, makes giving his wines a strong identity expressing the estate’s terroirs his priority. These are authentic wines that bring together red fruit aromas, floral notes and spicy flavours. The specificity of the estate is that it produces true wines to cellar, matured in oak tuns.
In the tasting cellar of Domaine des Averlys, a welcome that is as warm as the wines you will taste there awaits you. The light and stone in the cellar under the vaults harmonise to highlight the wine’s finesse ; Etienne will tell you of the estate, its production, the work through the seasons and answer your questions.
Château de Pravins maintains one of the oldest vineyards in the Beaujolais region; it is contemporary with the foundation of Villefranche-sur-Saône in the 12th century. All our wines are organic. Château de Buffavent is a building with personality whose origins date back to 16th century and whose vineyards spread over 20 ha in the heart of Pierres Dorées (golden stone) Beaujolais. Denis and Marie-Agnès Chilliet welcome you throughout the year to give you tastings of a full range of award-winning wines. You can also stay in one of our 3, 4-ear-of-corn guest rooms that we opened recently. Come to see us and taste the charm of the setting. Ours is a family-owned estate for 8 generations covering 25 ha. The house is 16th century with a wrought iron gate, inner courtyard and vaulted cellar.
