Château du Bourg is a lovely residence, set at the foot of a slope of vines, which was built in the 18th and 19th centuries. Denis Matray will welcome you there, in their 1900s style bistro, to taste the estate’s wines.

15th century listed castle. Renaissance inner courtyard. Old 18th century chai and wooded grounds. The grapes from 92 ha of vineyards vinified and bottled on the estate.
Ours is a family estate (4th generation) in a charming little flower-decked village with an inn of good repute. We have a recent vinification chai where we have married tradition and modernism. Here the questions (and their answers) are easy to understand!
Our family estate was created in 1954. The vineyards are in Northern Pays Beaujolais. In the estate’s vaulted cellar, which dates from 1663, you can taste deliciously lip-smacking Chiroubles, Fleurie, reputed to be the most feminine of the Beaujolais Crus, Moulin-à-Vent, the lord of the Crus and fresh, supple Beaujolais Villages of the year.
In an exceptional site at the heart of the Beaujolais Cru area, our cellar will give you the warmest of welcomes to make your stay in Fleurie a true pleasure.
Domaine de la Grosse Pierre the perfect place for a peaceful stop-off or a wine-centred holiday. Véronique and Alain will welcome you there and have converted the old ‘Master’s House’ to a guest house with 5 guest rooms.
