Three words describe the estate: meticulousness, passion and patience. Over time Château du Chatelard, a very old wine estate, has set itself apart as being one of the best estates in the Beaujolais vineyard. Production on our 27 ha estate is centred on high quality requirements. As a result of this, we earn a certain number awards and citation for our wines.
Appellation: Fleurie
Overlooked by its 12th century Romanesque chapel, the estate has retained the gentle outline of vineyard surrounded dwellings. Respecting the original stones and woodwork, the inside has been renovated to comfortable modern standards.
Our 18th century vaulted cellar welcomes you during your explorations of our magnificent Beaujolais region and, of course, the wines we craft with passion.
Laurent and Martine Perrachon are delighted to welcome you to their tasting cellar in Domaine des Mouilles in the heart of the Juliénas vineyards.
This age-old 16th century family estate that covers eleven hectares of sandy granite soil is entirely on the Fleurie appellation area, is on the hills of the hamlet of Les Labourons. Domaine de la Bouronière has been certified integrated since 2005 and is now under the Terra Vitis banner, this means that vine tending is eco-friendly.
Ours is a family estate (6 generations) on the hill slope of La Madone, set in the vines. Visit to the little Chapelle de la Madone and a viewpoint indicator near the estate.
On the slopes of Fleurie, 1.5 km from the main village; Valérie, Bruno and Cyril welcome you to their family estate. We will give you a tasting of our estate wines: Chénas, Fleurie, Moulin-à-Vent and Beaujolais Villages.
It was in 1890 that Antoine Vermorel, my vinegrower-winemaker great-grandfather in Fleurie at ‘Le Point du Jour’, bought the farmhouse at ‘Les Grands Fers’ to manage his estate from. After over 120 years and three generations, I am proud to have been stewarding my great-grandfather’s little estate that is made up of the most fabulous terroirs in the Fleurie appellation area – including Les Roches, Les Garants, Les Côtes and Les Moiriers – since 1991. Vine-tending that is close to nature, made up of observation and patience, well thought-out vinification following absolute tradition and long and noble wood maturing (barrels and tuns) bring out the pedigree of our old Gamay vines giving deep coloured, redolent, rich and thoroughbred wines.
Discover our family estate and taste our 6 appellations. Passion, respect for the terroir and traditional vinification, mean that we extract all the nuances from our single grape variety: the Gamay.
Set in the charming commune of Fleurie in the Beaujolais region, Château de Grand Pré boasts a great southeast facing aspect with a panoramic view over the Saône Valley. Our vineyards are tended organically and are certified Ecocert.
Directly linked to the terroirs they came from, our natural wines express their different personalities; from refined and delicate aromas and flavours to more complex stone fruit notes.
Come and try them on the estate.
